CARL WELTE founded Welte Associates in 1993. Welte Associates enables leaders and teams to achieve their desired results by helping them build the organizational capability to do so. As needed, he taps into his extensive consulting network to bring in additional expertise and resources for specific client engagements.
His over 50 years of challenging leadership and consulting experience has equipped him with the requisite wisdom and process and coaching skills to add value to his clients.
He has held senior-level positions in both large and small organizations, as well as leadership positions in a variety of professional, industrial, and educational associations.
Carl was a visiting faculty member for 12 years at the University of Idaho, teaching in its executive development program. He has also taught leadership and management programs in the University of California's extension learning system for over 10 years.

He is the author of "Making and Fulfilling Your Dreams as a Leader: A Practical Guide for Formulating and Executing Strategy," Balboa Press, 2014, and "Building Commitment: Unleashing the Human Potential at Work," Balboa Press, 2016.
He has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco.
He and his wife Dee live in Novato, CA. They are proud of their three children and six grandchildren living in various parts of the country.
